The difference in height from the start of the hiking trail to the top of Prestaksla at 609 meters, is big. In addition, it goes through different biotopes, from spruce plantings of few species to luxuriant old forest up to the top with barren mountainous rock. This gives a great variation in vegetation and species of plants along the path, from the wood anemone and blueberry in the lower parts to the mountain plants at the top.
